Gabrielle Cateris is another actress who has lied about her age to get a part. Gabrielle was 29-years-old when she auditioned for the role of Andrea Zuckerman in Beverly Hills 90210. She was worried that people would think she was too old to play a 16-year-old so she knocked a few years off of her actual age. She even asked a lawyer if she could lie about her age and still sign the contracts, and they said it was fine, as long as she was over 21. Gabrielle did join the Peach Pit as Andrea, and the crew didn’t find out about her real age until a magazine wrote an article about it.
