Missy Hyatt was one of the first wrestling valets to grasp the concept that sex sells. She started off in World Class Championship Wrestling back in 1985 and managed her then boyfriend John Tatum. During that time Missy wrestled fellow WCCW valet Sunshine in a mud-pit match. Hyatt and Tatum went to the Universal Wrestling Federation where she had an affair with Eddie Gilbert, whom she married in 1988. Hyatt was hired by the WWF to do an interview segment replacing Piper’s Pit, but it failed miserably and she quickly went to WCW. Hyatt managed wrestlers such as Sting, the Steiner Brothers, and the Nasty Boys. She will be remembered for defeating Madusa in a Bikini Showdown contest at the Beach Blast pay-per-view in 1992.
