Before Sherri Martel became a valet and manager, she had a successful in ring career. Sherri won the AWA World Women’s Championship three times and the WWF Women’s Championship once. She did a great job playing the “bad girl” and became known as Sensational Queen Sherri while managing the “Macho Man” Randy Savage in the WWF. Sherri was responsible for giving Shawn Michaels the nickname “Sexy Boy”, and she also managed the “Playboy” Buddy Rose and the “Pretty Boy” Doug Somers in the AWA. Sherri also managed Ric Flair and the Harlem Heat in WCW and Shane Douglas and Brian Pillman in ECW. She was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2006 and passed away of an overdose in 2007.
