6. Heart Disease
Your first thought on this matter may be that coffee cannot possibly be good for your heart because of the caffeine that is in your favorite beverage. According to a piece that has been posted on the BMJ Publishing Group website, moderate coffee consumption led to what a study called “a lower prevalence of subclinical coronary atherosclerosis.” Once again, it must be stressed that the word “moderate” is in place for a reason. Nobody is recommending that you drink an entire pot of coffee every day that you are at the office. A couple of cups per day could, however, lower your risk of heart disease.
