David Gest was once the husband of the legendary Liza Minnelli, although many people are still confused as to why he chose to marry a woman. Gest and Minnelli’s union was a strange one, and getting a divorce was a hellacious process, according to David. Gest accused Liza of having herpes and knowingly exposing him to the STD without his knowledge. Gest also sued Minnelli on assault charges.
