Poehler’s career sprouted when she demonstrated her clear outrageousness and wit in 2001 on Saturday Night Live. It is to no surprise that by the end of her first year on SNL, she was made a regularly featured performer. Poelher continued to grow (metaphorically), teaming up with Tina Fey in 2004 to co-anchor SNL’s Weekend Update.
