Sinead O’ Connor is a famous singer who also dealt with her share of mental issues. O’ Connor had a Twitter account throughout 2011 and she shared tons of personal information on it – including her thoughts about suicide. She later stated that nobody should be judged for however they portray that they need help, alluding to the idea that she was given hate and insults for expressing that she wanted to kill herself. In the end, O’ Connor said she had fun with the site but had to shut it down because she was receiving too much abuse. She came back to social media shortly after, but hasn’t been active since 2014.
