2. Beans
Beans are so nutritious and good because they really help to battle cancer as well. They hold a few powerful phytochemicals that protects the body’s cells against harm that can prompt cancer. Dry beans and peas are rich in fiber (20% of Daily Value) and a good source of protein. They are also an excellent source of folate and vitamin B. Foods containing folate help reduce the risk of pancreatic cancer probably because of folate’s role in healthy cell division and repair of damaged cells. Add a half-cup of legumes that have been soaked a few times a week either from a canned or dry beans and cook to your usual rotation of greens or other veggies. Both white and red beans are practically good and helps in fighting or protecting the body against cancer
