6. Carrots
Carrots are actually good for the eyes and they are also helpful in the fight against cancer. Carrot intake is responsible for slowing down the growth of prostate cancer and there’s no reason not to start eating more carrots, since they already provide other well-established health benefits. Like kale and spinach, carrots pack carotenoids, an antioxidant group that may help prevent rectal cancer. You can prepare carrot, ginger soup once in a week by using an immersion blender (or a standard, blender working in batches), blend the carrot until smooth, add lemon juice, divide among 4 bowls, garnish with crushed red pepper and carrot leaves. If desired, serve chilled.
