8. Hippopotamus
Hippos are rotund animals with the distinct title of being the third largest living land mammals, after elephants and white rhinos. They can grow anywhere between 10.8 to 16.5 feet (3.3 to 5 meters) long and weigh up to 3 tons. That’s roughly about the length and weight of a Hummer H2.
9. Burmese Python
The Burmese python is one of the three largest species of snakes in the world. They average about 3.7 m (12.1 ft) long but there has been reports of some reaching lengths of up to 5.74 m (18.8 ft). Yep, that’s longer than most trees you see in your neighborhood.
