3. Protection of the heart
Corn oil has an anti-atherogenic effect on cholesterol levels. This means it reduces the risk of various cardiovascular diseases. Corn is close to an optimal fatty acid combination which makes it good for the heart.
This means that it allows omega 3 fatty acids to replace the damaging bad cholesterol at the binding sites.
This will reduce the chances of the arteries getting clogged. It will also reduce blood pressure and generally lower the risk of having a stroke or a heart attack.
