13. Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift is a 26-year-old sensation who has created an empire for herself through her talent, positive energy, and extreme dedication. Say what you want about Taylor Swift, but we at TheRichest believe her to be an incredible role model for young girls. Not only does she have an enormous amount of talent and a big heart, but Swift promotes a healthy lifestyle for her fans to look up to. Taylor Swift has also opened up about her own insecurities saying “I definitely have body issues, but everybody does. When you come to the realization that everybody does that – even the people that I consider flawless – then you can start to live with the way you are. I’ve read interviews with some of the most beautiful women who have insecurities. And you look at them and you’re like ‘How do you have? Name one thing wrong with yourself’, and they could name a handful.” It can be easy to think that stars are just these flawless creatures, but this honesty is exactly why we love Taylor Swift. Granted it also doesn’t hurt that she looks damn good in leggings!
12. Selena Gomez
Selena Gomez is known as a singer, actress and of course as Justin Bieber‘s ex-girlfriend. Gomez has found an incredible amount of success in her career, especially considering she is still only 24 years old. The young superstar is beautiful and has one of the best bodies in the industry. Gomez works out to be healthy, not to be skinny. In the past, Gomez has been seriously body shamed which is something that is seriously wrong with our society. Instead of being embarrassed about gaining weight, she embraced it. Gomez is not a child anymore. Her body has developed and she has inspired others with statements like “I feel very empowered and confident and comfortable with where I am. And I think it took me a long while to get there because, you know, the past year was so interesting because I’ve never been body-shamed before … I did gain weight, but I don’t care.” We think Gomez looks outstanding, especially in her gym clothes, and we can only hope other women take similar positive attitudes towards their body.
