Nollywood actress, Moyo Lawal, who has been getting in the news lately, has dismissed rumours linking her with an affair with the president of Gambia, Yahya Jammeh. This was fueled as a result of her recent visits to Gambia with her best friend and colleague, Mimi Orjiekwe, having developed a picture series with the hashtag #Gambiandiary, alongside the latter.

Lawal refuted this claim in an interview comment published by The Sun News on Saturday, August 20, 2016, stating that her visit to the West African country was for business purposes.
Speaking in a light mood, the actress said, “Please, spare me useless bloggers’ rumours.”
“If people could say I have had a butt surgery, they can say anything (Laughs). Na dem sabi. I was in Gambia recently but it was a business trip.”
The “Beneath Her Veil” actress has been all about keeping fit all the time.
She attributed her good looks to the amount of time she spends at the gym, as opposed to the news that she went for a butt implant to enhance her figure.
