If you ever wondered what gives Kim that dose of her exotic looks, well, she has an Armenian heritage. That did not mean that she had ever been to Armenia though, but recently she went there for the first time. The reasoning behind the trip was to get in touch with her Armenian roots, and also to get some good ratings for the good old reality show, of course.
