Wizkid and his now estranged producer, Northboi have been closely affiliated for a few years, working together, and have made a few hits until Northboi called him out recently over credit issues. He accused Wizkid of not giving him proper credits on songs he produced for the Starboy.
Wizkid did not address the issue when Northboi publicly tabled the matter on Twitter, which didn’t go well with the producer.
Wizkid recently released a 7-track Extended Play titled ‘Soundman’, the songs on the list of the 7-track Extended Play includes, ‘Ease your mind’, ‘Thankful’, ‘Electric, ‘Mine’, ‘Cover Me,’ ‘Blow,’ and ‘Jam.’
Reacting to the release of the EP, Northboi threw a shade at Wizkid, stating that the EP he released is wack. He compared the E.P to Davido’s “A Good Time,” Burna Boy’s “African Giant” and Rema’s “Rema” albums and he opines that all these are better than the E.P Wizkid just dropped.
He wrote; “A Good Time,” “AFRICAN GIANT,” REMA’s first E.p All>>>>> SoundMan. Argue with your conscience. The gods have spoken!”
