Emphysema essentially happens when the airways of the lungs are obstructed in some manner. This makes breathing very difficult. So she doesn’t collapse on the runway, Turlington can take a medication and even use a range of therapies, such as pulmonary rehabilitation, maintaining a healthy diet, and receiving supplemental oxygen for particularly extreme difficulties with breathing.
