American professional mixed martial artist and kickboxer, Shane del Rosario died on Dec. 9, 2013, in Orange Country, Calif., nearly two weeks after the heavyweight had heart attack. He competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s Heavyweight division, Strikeforce, M-1 Global, ShoXC, and King of the Cage. He held the distinction of being the first American to become the WBC Muay Thai World Heavyweight Champion. He died when he was only 30.
