07. Adriana Leon – $36,422
Adriana Leon got an athletic scholarship for the University of Notre Dame women’s soccer team at her early age. She was quickly noticed when scoring the only goal for the Fighting Irish when they defeated Stanford Cardinal during the NCAA national championship tournament. And this achievement helped lead to Adriana being transferred to the University of Florida’s women’s soccer team. Her score again helped the Gators win a Southern Conference championship in 2012.
Adriana Leon started her professional career playing for the Boston Breakers before being traded to the Chicago Red Stars in 2013. And Leon has been an integral part of the women’s Canadian soccer team as her international women soccer presence. She is considered at number seven in this list of top 10 highest paid female soccer players in the world 2015.
