Rhian Wilkinson grew up in an athletically driven Canadian family. Her family very much encouraged her to sharpen her abilities in women soccer. This support system helped Rhian earn a place in the women’s soccer team at the University of Tennessee later. And she became the Offensive Player of the Year for the Lady Vols in 2002. Then she came to play the Norwegian professional league for eight seasons, signed on to the Boston Breakers in the National Women’s Soccer League since 2013.
Her greatest achievements would occur while playing for Canada, when she helped the team win a bronze medal at the 2007 Pan American Games. Again in 2011 another gold medal at the Pan American Games. She also helped the women’s Canadian team win an Olympic bronze medal at the 2012 London Olympic. Such achievements undoubtedly brings her in this highest paid female soccer players list of 2015.
