Andreja Pejic is an incredibly talented Australian model who is a transgender woman. Until 2014, Pejic was portrayed as an “androgynous” male model. Pejic describes herself as a human being living between genders. This star was apparently discovered when she was 17 working at McDonald’s. Her beauty and talent both on the runway and during photo-shoots has made her one of the top contenders in the fashion world. Pejic is an inspiration to many, including the previously mentioned Elliott Sailors. This fashion powerhouse has walked for designers like Marc Jacobs and Jean Paul Gauthier and in 2014 she took the plunge. Pejic came out in saying that she had gender reassignment surgery and claims she is finally happy within herself.
