2. The Twin Towers Were Built to Withstand a Boeing Jet
This point may at first seem a little ridiculous but it’s actually true: World Trade Center structural engineers and the manager of WTC Construction & Project Management, have all testified that the World Trade Center buildings were built to withstand the impact of multiple airplanes. Leslie Robertson, a World Trade Center structural engineer, states that he “designed [the World Trade Center] for a 707 to hit it.” And the late Frank De Martini, who was once the manager of WTC Construction & Project Management, stated that the World Trade Center “could probably sustain multiple impacts of jetliners… like a pencil puncturing a screen netting.”
