Paris Hilton, the original socialite who was famous for being famous, has all but been overshadowed in recent years by her friend Kim Kardashian. But at one point, during the mid-2000s, Hilton was “New York’s leading It Girl,” and was on the front pages of every tabloid and media outlet.
She gained notoriety for her leaked 2003 sex tape, and she became a media sensation. Her 2004 memoir became a New York Times Best Seller, her fragrance line has earned over $1.5 billion, and she charges over $300,000 to appear at nightclubs and events. She is known as a hard-partying girl, and the picture above is just one example of a time she’d rather (and probably did) forget.
