In 2013, Pattie Mallette, Justin Bieber’s mom, became an executive producer for an anti-abortion film. Being Bieber’s mom of course, her stance on abortion spread like fire in the media. The young singer of course was embarrassed by the situation. However, that was not the only time Pattie Mallette took advantage of her son’s fame. In 2012 she wrote a book entitled Nowhere but Up: The Story of Justin Bieber’s Mom. The book is a memoir of Justin’s Bieber’s childhood and reached #17 on the New York Times Best Seller list during its first week of publication.
