Ambode hosts German president, Joachim Gauck In Lagos (See Photo)

The German President speaking through an interpreter said, that his purpose for visiting Nigeria was to strengthen the cordial relationship existing between Germany and Nigeria, and to also forge additional mutually beneficial trade ties.

President Gauck also stated that he plans to share with the Nigerian government, Germany’s experiences when it comes to science and technology, and also in the areas of capacity building.

Joachim Gauck whose visit happens to be his first time in Nigeria, is slated to meet President Muhammadu Buhari later this week to talk on areas where a strong partnership is needed between the two countries.
