2. Dipendra of Nepal – A “Royal” Massacre
There’s no eloquent way to say this, but if this article is about disgraces, there isn’t much more of a disgrace than someone carrying out a massacre. Long story short, Prince Dipendra, heir to the Nepalese throne, shot up a family gathering with an M16, MP5 and a shotgun. He killed his parents, the king and queen, along with seven other family members. Nobody knows why he did it for sure, but some rumors include a plot by the former king, a CIA conspiracy (those guys and gals are always busy) and a theory about the prince wanting to marry a woman of whom his parents did not approve. After killing nine of his family members, Dipendra shot himself, and died after three days in a coma.
