Prince Carl-Philip had, for many years, a reputation of which his family was less than fond. In short, he was a party animal, whose favorite things included booze-fueled weekends, fast cars and faster women. Around 2009 he broke up with the woman who his family had hoped he would marry, in favor of dating Sofia Hellqvist.
