4. Sarah Palin
“We can send a message and say, ‘You want to be in America, A, you’d better be here legally or you’re out of here. B, when you’re here, lets speak American.” – Sarah Palin
Sarah Palin is a politician and author who was the Governor of Alaska from 2006 to 2009. She was also the Republican Vice Presidential Nominee during the 2008 Election running with Arizona Senator John McCain. During that time she was the butt of many late night jokes. Tina Fey was universally praised for her impression of Palin on Saturday Night Live, including a sketch where Fey used actual Palin quotes. She has written a book, Going Rogue and hosted the TV series Amazing America with Sarah Palin. She sometimes gets her facts mixed up and her history wrong and to be honest, there are too many quotes to include. However, she constantly defends her intelligence including the time she invented the word, “Refudiate”. During an interview with Katie Couric, she was asked about which newspapers she reads and where she gets her information. She seemed to have a difficult time naming one single magazine or newspaper. Her now famous response was: “All of ‘em, any of ‘em that have been in front of me over all these years.”
