4. Michael Jackson’s Fairground and Zoo

Michael Jackson’s famed ranch is one of the most unusual celebrity homes ever. Bought by the singer in 1988, it consisted of 22 buildings. Jackson later added a private railway and fairground to the mix. Besides that, the 2,800-acre property hosted a series of zoo filled with all kinds of exotic animals.

When the singer moved out in 2005, the expansive Tudor manse was restored and Fairground turned into a zen garden.
