 Borno – Kashim Shettima (APC)

The returning officer of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for Borno State, Professor Yaganami Karta, has declared Governor Kashim Shettima as the winner of the gubernatorial election in the state. Declaring the results at the INEC headquarters in Maiduguri, Professor Karta said that the APC candidate satisfied the requirement of the law and scored the highest votes of 649,913 out of 690,182.
