9. George “The Animal” Steele – Crohn’s Disease
Crohn’s Disease is a chronic condition associated with the digestive system. For people who have this condition, life can be tough because sometimes eating can be quite painful. Other symptoms of this condition include fever, weight loss, fatigue, and issues such as constipation or diarrhea. One wrestler that had to live with Crohn’s Disease was George “The Animal” Steele. Imagine how difficult it must have been for Steele when it came time to wrestle, and the poor man felt sick to his stomach or had a fever? Eventually, Steel lost part of his colon, and is in much better health these days, though he is still living with the condition.
