Valletta began her career as a model. The beauty from Phoenix, Arizona was vaulted quickly to supermodel status. She signed multi-million dollar cosmetic deals with Calvin Klein and Elizabeth Arden. She also worked as the face for such giants as Armani, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Valentino, Gucci and Versace. Valletta, now a successful actress, recalls getting high by the age of 10. And while modeling in Europe at age 18, she found cocaine and alcohol. She stated: “I was in a business where drugs and alcohol were widely accepted. They were given to me.” Valletta got sober at age 25 and shifted her career more toward acting where she has enjoyed a great deal of success.
