Lindsay Lohan is the most recent poster-child for young celebrity rehab. She was a budding talent as a child and teen, starring in numerous big roles. She was on top of the entertainment world as the next ITgirl, destined to be a superstar. She was attractive and original and even made a splash as a singer. With successful films like Freaky Friday and Mean Girls under her belt, people were looking for big A-List things from Lohan. That is, until word of her excessive partying began to circulate.
Lohan was getting slack for drinking and doing drugs through all hours of the night and missing casting calls the next morning. The teenager’s star began to dim when respected executive producer James G. Robinson wrote a very public letter about Lohan calling her out for being “irresponsible and unprofessional” and participating in “ongoing all-night heavy partying” during the filming of the Robinson-produced Georgia Rule. Shortly after, Lohan ran off a series of alcohol-related charges, getting arrested numerous times and making four appearances in rehab. Lohan came clean to Oprah about her alcohol addiction and excessive cocaine use. When she drank, she used to like to snort coke. It allowed Lohan to party longer. As of now, Lohan is attempting to reconstruct her career.
