22. Cynthia Morgan – German Juice
Cynthia Morgan is one bad chick you can’t resist. Not only is she endowed (I guess you know what I mean), she also knows how to break the internet with controversies and most importantly, she’s got talent. She made a fine entrance this year with one of the most boisterous dancehall tunes titled, German Juice produced by Tony Ross. The video isn’t bad after all but doesn’t quite explain what German juice means. Care to know what German Juice metaphorically means? You can hit her up on twitter and ask. Notable tracks this year by Cynthia Morgan are; Simantiniya and Baby Mama.
21. Davido – Fans Mi ft. Meek Mill
Davido, one of Afro-pop’s most exciting young voices broke the internet when he made the announcement of his collaboration with U.S rapper, Meek Mill. The song was premiered successfully with a befitting but yet controversial video. Was the video actually about drug dealing or was it just a mere mind twist? Well, Davido and Meek went H.A.M on the Shizzi assembled track. The beat makes you feel high as hell; the joy in the hustle makes you wanna be a customer.
20. Yemi Alade – Nagode
Yemi Alade kicked up the campaign for her 2016 album, Mama Africa with this lovely thankful song, Nagode (Thank You in Hausa). Teaming up with Selebobo that provided her biggest hit, Johnny, Yemi Alade appeals to almost every Nigerian with this lovely tune. It’s a tune that hits to the core of every Nigerian. After all who doesn’t like to tell God Thank You every now and then.
