According to the 2010 census, 1 out of every 10 American marriages is now interracial. That marks a 28 percent increase from the year 2000, most likely due to Jennifer Lopez’s highly publicized relationship with Ben Affleck at the beginning of the decade – just kidding.
In an episode of the tragically defunct ABC sitcom Happy Endings, black husband Brad says to his white wife Jane that their food order is lagging because they’re “black on blonde.” The above quoted Gwen Stefani song, with the use of its wonderful metaphor, is an outcry against the harsh criticisms mixed-race couples receive. Although we acknowledge the inherent politics of mixed-race dating, we are not here to make a political statement. All we want to do is list the 14 sexiest interracial couples in Tinseltown.

This one is a bit odd. Marco Saldana, formerly Marco Perego, took his wife’s name upon marrying her in 2013. She thinks it’s weird, too, and tried to talk him out of it, but perhaps he wanted the name recognition. After all, he’s a relative unknown and she’s a smoking hot megastar. Either way, they’re now married and have twin boys, Bowie and Cy. She says that Cy looks Cambodian and Bowie is “[their] little pharaoh.” Saldana (F) is of Dominican, Puerto Rican, Haitian, and Lebanese descent. Saldana (M) is white Italian.
