For instance, Conrad Hilton was once kicked off of a flight for calling his fellow passengers “peasants” and acting all high and mighty. What a jerk! Dave Chappelle Deemed a safety threat to the plane and its passengers, comedian Dave Chappelle had to be escorted off a flight back in the summer of 2010. He had a mental breakdown on a flight aboard a private jet which caused the pilot to make an emergency landing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to remove Dave for safety reasons. The story of what really happened is a bit muddled, but one version is that the comedian ran up to the pilot, grabbed his arm, and kept bugging him about when the flight would be over. When Dave was asked to comment on the incident, one of his representatives said that the comedian just had to go to the bathroom. Uh, then why didn’t he just go? Something was fishy about this story, but Dave got out of it relatively unscathed. After he was escorted off the plane, he didn’t give anyone any trouble, but it was still a freakish event that delayed the other passengers from reaching their destinations. 14. Kate Moss Don’t deny Kate Moss her alcohol. The supermodel once had a huge episode when a flight attendant wouldn’t give her a drink and she had to be kicked off her EasyJet flight. It looks like Kate was just trying to keep up her drunkorexia look, but it was an unsuitable form of behavior, especially for a grown woman with so much fame. This unfortunately was not the last travel incident that Kate Moss faced while traversing the friendly skies. In 2015 she was pulled from a flight for hurling insults at the pilot. Kate allegedly called the pilot a “basic b*tch” and was also drinking some vodka that she had smuggled onto the plane in her hand luggage. Cue the head shakes…what was Kate thinking? At least no one was hurt, and actually, some passengers were amused at what a hot mess Kate looked like as she began arguing with another traveler and had to be led out by police. 13. Amanda Bynes In 2013 washed-up actress Amanda Bynes tried to board a plane without having any form of valid ID. No license or anything that could have her pass for the real Amanda Bynes. Somehow she made it as far as boarding the plane and when she was confronted by a crew member, she She instead told them to look her up on Google. Well, needless to say, that didn’t work. The stunt wasn’t a surprise for most people, considering that Bynes had been in the news for other incidents such as drunk driving. By the time she was getting kicked off the flight, she had already racked up two accounts of hit and run and one accounts of driving under the influence. You would think that after all of those motor vehicle incidents, she would keep a valid ID on her. Fortunately, Bynes has been out of the public eye for a while. Best to keep it that way. 12. Lamar Odom In July of 2016, Lamar Odom was kicked off a Delta Airlines plane for being gross and obnoxious. Apparently the pro athlete was chilling in first class and got seriously smashed on some alcohol. He then hurled all over the galley before he made it to the bathroom to throw up some more. He was a perceived safety risk to the flight and passengers, so he had to be escorted off the plane as soon as possible. That must have been a messy job, and we feel sorry for whoever had to clean up Lamar Odom’s upchuck afterwards. When officials spoke to other travelers who were seated near Lamar in the airport’s VIP lounge, they said that they saw the pro athlete downing bottle after bottle of beer and whiskey. He barely made it to take-off time, and as the rest of the passengers were boarding, he promptly threw up all that alcohol right in the center aisle. 11. Courtney Love It would appear that being kicked off a plane would be the least of Courtney Love’s worries, what with her former beau Kurt Cobain dying tragically and her being a prime suspect in his death. Anyway, in 2003 she was kicked off a Virgin Atlantic flight after she got into a heated argument with another passenger. Tempers flared, tones of voice got high, and words were exchanged. The pilot and officials deemed Courtney was endangering the aircraft through her use of expletives and violent temperament towards the flight crew. According to reports, such an offense can be punishable with two years behind bars. Ouch. And all over a stupid little argument that began when Courtney refused to buckle her seatbelt. People, you need to just do what the flight attendants tell you. These people are up flying in the air for hours on end, just give them some respect already. 10. Selma Blair "ad-odd">While traveling to Mexico with her 4-year-old son, Selma Blair had to be taken to a hospital after the plane she was on made an emergency landing in Los Angeles. So, what happened? She mixed her prescription meds with alcohol and had to be escorted off the plane in a freaking stretcher. Evidently the combination of booze and meds caused the actress to flip her lid and go a bit loco on the plane. She was seen as a safety risk to the flight and the passengers and had to get off that plane as soon as possible. The whole fiasco was a mistake on her part (and she probably should not have been drinking with her toddler son anyway,) but it created a lot of disturbance and delays for the other passengers. Whoopsie! On a more serious note, Selma’s breakdown sounded like it had tragic undertones. She was reportedly referring to a man who refused to let her eat or leave the house and burned her private areas. 9. Mo’Nique Big and bold actress Mo’Nique made waves in 2006 when she was told to get off a plane. The incident started out innocently enough. Mo’Nique’s hairstylist came on board with her and was joining the actress in first class seating. The hairstylist wanted to keep the celeb’s hair dryer in first class because there wasn’t any more room in the overhead seating. A flight attendant approached them during the boarding process and told them that the hair dryer would not be permitted in first class storage. The reason for that, we don’t know, but what happened after that was unacceptable. Mo’Nique and her hair stylist tried to ask why this rule was as it was and the flight attendant started getting testy. They were kicked off the plane for not complying with flight policies and then the flight attendant had the nerve to tell Mo’Nique to “Tell your people that the next time they have an attitude, they are getting thrown off.” 8. Kevin Smith Poor Kevin Smith. The Hollywood director was kicked off a plane because he was just too fat to be buckled into his seat. The director took to Twitter to tell people the outrageous situation that he found himself in. Fifty tweets later, it was clear that Smith was upset, and his fans began tweeting out to the airline to tell them off. The pilot of the plane allegedly asked Smith to step out of the aircraft because he posed a “safety risk” to the plane and its passengers. Since when does a fat person pose a safety risk to others? Yeah, he could afford to lose some weight, but that has nothing to do with the pilot nor the passengers. And besides, Smith had managed to sit in his seat and put his arm rests down. He was all ready and set to go! We’re calling this embarrassing situation “fat discrimination,” plain and simple. 7. Christian Slater In 1994, actor Christian Slater got on a plane with an unlicensed pistol in his suitcase. What on earth was he thinking? He clearly wasn’t, that’s for sure. Just imagine what would have happened if he had pulled a stunt like that today with our hostile attention to terrorism. Back in 1994, Slater just received a community service sentence for a whopping three days. If that happened in 2016…wow. Anyway, this wasn’t the first time that Christian Slater found himself in a legal pickle. He was arrested in 1989 for driving under the influence and assaulting police officers. That charge got him put in prison for 10 days. Another arrest happened in 1997 when he was charged with violently assaulting his then-girlfriend, Michelle Jonas. The actor has spent time in rehab and hopefully has finally gotten his act together. No pun intended. His next big project is 2016’s film, King Cobra. 6. Naomi Campbell We all know that supermodel Naomi Campbell has a serious chip on her shoulder and she seems to be mad at the entire world. Nothing is good enough for her. There was that time when she threw her cell phone at her personal assistant and was sentenced to community service (which she showed up to in high heels). Unfortunately, that was not the end of Naomi’s shenanigans. In 2008 she was escorted off of a plane after she threw a huge temper tantrum. What was her beef? Her luggage was not on the same flight as she was. After raising her voice and screaming at the British Airways staff, she had to be manhandled by police. Even then, she continued to kick them and spit in their faces. Talk about acting like a total diva. That’s just too much. It was too much for British Airways as well; they banned her from traveling on their planes ever again. 5. Gerard Depardieu You don’t mess with the French, especially when they’re inebriated. In 2011 actor Gerard Depardieu was flying from Paris to Dublin when he really had to pee. He had been drinking excessively, after all. He wanted to go to the loo, but he was told that he would have to wait until the plane reached a safe altitude and passengers could get out of their seats. That wasn’t a good enough reason for him evidently, and he just decided to do his business on the floor of the plane, right between the rows. According to the actor’s representative, Gerard had tried to pee in a bottle, but is that really any better? He would have had to wait what, five minutes for the plane to reach a suitable altitude? What kind of adult can’t hold it? The 62-year-old actor later apologized, although his fellow passengers will forever be haunted by his exclamations that he needed to piss. 4. Billie Joe Armstrong Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong was flying on Southwest Airlines in 2011 when he was kicked off the plane while passengers were boarding. The reason is seriously embarrassing. Armstrong wouldn’t pull his droopy pants up when a flight attendant asked him to. Instead, he threw a fit like a child and was so disruptive that he had to be escorted off the plane. Afterwards, Armstrong took to the Twitterverse and wrote to his fans that he had just been kicked off the Southwest flight for pants that “sagged too low. What the f-? No joke!” Armstrong had given a flight attendant sass when she asked him to pull his pants up. Asking her whether or not she had better things to worry about than his wardrobe, the flight attendant threatened Armstrong with dismissal from the plane. Apparently Armstrong just couldn’t wisen up and the flight attendant called in someone to escort him off. 3. Ivana Trump Oh, it makes perfect sense why Ivana and Donald Trump got married. In 2009, Ivana was removed from her first-class seating and kicked off a plane for calling some noisy kids “little f*ckers.” Talk about a bad temper. We understand that children can be a bit annoying sometimes, and having a crying baby on a place (especially a long flight) is almost cruel and unusual punishment. Yet that gives a person no right to yell at the kid and shout profanities at them. That’s just low. It got even worse though, because when flight attendants tried to come over and calm Ivana down, she wasn’t having any of it. She gave them trouble as well and tried to elude their reach as she ran into the cockpit. Fortunately, the flight hadn’t taken off yet, and the pilot had to call in reinforcements to force Ivana out of the plane when she refused to follow the pilot’s request that she leave. 2. Josh Duhamel When the flight attendants tell you to stop texting and turn off your phone before take-off, they aren’t joking. In 2010 Josh Duhamel made headlines for the very stupid reason that he wouldn’t turn his phone off when the flight attendant asked him to. Josh just ignored her and must have assumed that he and his phone had special privileges since he was famous. Well, then the pilot had to intervene, but Josh still wouldn’t turn off his device. Eventually, things got so heated that the pilot turned the plane around so that Josh could get off. Later on, a rep for Josh released a statement saying that the actor was sorry. Hmm, maybe this is why Josh and Fergie make such a good couple; they both blatantly ignore the rules and it gets them into trouble! Speaking of which, Josh’s wife Fergie was once kicked off a plane because she was severely intoxicated. 1. David Hasselhoff Actor David Hasselhoff gave himself a solid reputation for being a sloppy drunk who didn’t know his limits. We all remember that disturbing video that his daughter took in which he was sprawled out drunk on the floor at midnight while eating a cheeseburger. Anyway, this is a separate incident in which The Hoff was kicked off a British Airways plane. This was in 2006, and the actor was clearly extremely drunk when he boarded the plane, so he had to be escorted off before the pilot felt comfortable flying. Oh, and it was only seven o’clock in the morning, just showing us that Hasselhoff had some serious drinking problems. One a month earlier, he was in another weird news story for hitting his head on a chandelier and being sent to the hospital. Apparently he was a bit loopy then as well and he was trying to shave in a luxury hotel bathroom.
