9. Mo’Nique

Big and bold actress Mo’Nique made waves in 2006 when she was told to get off a plane. The incident started out innocently enough. Mo’Nique’s hairstylist came on board with her and was joining the actress in first class seating. The hairstylist wanted to keep the celeb’s hair dryer in first class because there wasn’t any more room in the overhead seating. A flight attendant approached them during the boarding process and told them that the hair dryer would not be permitted in first class storage. The reason for that, we don’t know, but what happened after that was unacceptable. Mo’Nique and her hair stylist tried to ask why this rule was as it was and the flight attendant started getting testy. They were kicked off the plane for not complying with flight policies and then the flight attendant had the nerve to tell Mo’Nique to “Tell your people that the next time they have an attitude, they are getting thrown off.”
