Poor Kevin Smith. The Hollywood director was kicked off a plane because he was just too fat to be buckled into his seat. The director took to Twitter to tell people the outrageous situation that he found himself in. Fifty tweets later, it was clear that Smith was upset, and his fans began tweeting out to the airline to tell them off. The pilot of the plane allegedly asked Smith to step out of the aircraft because he posed a “safety risk” to the plane and its passengers. Since when does a fat person pose a safety risk to others? Yeah, he could afford to lose some weight, but that has nothing to do with the pilot nor the passengers. And besides, Smith had managed to sit in his seat and put his arm rests down. He was all ready and set to go! We’re calling this embarrassing situation “fat discrimination,” plain and simple.
