1. The fat menu

It’s a wedding, not the launching of a new restaurant. Having more dishes on your menu than is served at restaurants is just too much. What people care about is if they ate well not how many dishes were served.

2. Many change of dresses This is common with the bride. The clothes she makes an entrance in will be different from the one she cuts the cake in and different from the one she dances in and possibly, the one leaves the party in. It is a wedding, not a fashion runway show. Less is more.

Cut your coat according to size. Do not begin your marriage with avoidable debts. Your guests already know how far you can go. You don’t want them calculating your unnecessary costs instead of appreciating the gift.
