A 63-year-elderly man recognized as Oluwatunbosun Fadahunsi, who was captured for killing his wife half, says he thought she was a goat when he was hacking her to death.
The police captured Fadahunsi on October fifth 2019 after it was found he utilized a cutlass to cleaver his significant other to death at Ita-Ipele Camp, by means of Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The police summoned the 60-something year old under the steady gaze of a Magistrate court today and he related how he killed his significant other. When approached on the off chance that she didn’t weep for assistance during the ambush and why he didn’t stop after the main cut, he reacted
“She sobbed for assistance. In any case, at the purpose of matcheting her, her cry seemed like that of a goat. Along these lines, I thought I was really murdering a goat. It was in the wake of executing her that my eyes turned out to be clean and I kept running up. I don’t see how everything occurred. It would be ideal if you show benevolence toward me.”

Fadhunsi who had no lawful portrayal, asked the court to temper equity with benevolence saying he was just mindful of what he had done subsequent to murdering her.
Describing why he assaulted her, the blamed said
“We just had squabble about our kids school expenses. I never knew when I matcheted her. It was after she kicked the bucket that I understood what I had done. If it’s not too much trouble show leniency toward me and help me ask my youngsters.”
The charge sheet read:
“You, Dahunsi Oluwatubosun, ‘m’ on October 5, 2019 at about 6:30am at Ita-Ipele Camp by means of Owo in the Ondo Magisterial District unlawfully matcheted your better half, Funmilayo Dahunsi ‘f’ on her two hands, head, stomach, neck and her jaw with cutlass to death and in this manner carried out an offense as opposed to area 316 and culpable under segment 319(1) of the Criminal Code Cap. 37 Volume 1 Laws of Ondo State of Nigeria, 2006.”
The Chief Magistrate, Charity Adeyanju, requested that he be remanded in the Olokuta Prison Correctional Center, pending the guidance from the DPP.
She dismissed the case till January thirteenth 2020.
