The woman uses a blunt blade but the weapon could still have a potentially fatal effect, especially now when she is waiting for a baby. As the steel implement slips down her throat, it passes by the heart and between the lungs to her stomach.
A nine-month pregnant sword swallower is still performing wince-worthy tricks and says she can’t get enough of the adrenaline rush
Speaking about her activity, Mrs Hernandez said,“It’s kinda like a danger factor, I love the adrenaline. I’m also a believer the body can do so many crazy things you have no idea.” Reacting to those viewers who have doubts about the reality of the stunts, a mother-to-be sais, “This is real. You know, a real blade is going inside my esophagus and down.”
During the show puts 36cm long blade down her throat and safely pull it back out again. With her pregnancy, Hernandez has talked to her doctor and another experienced performer, who showed her how to practice with a bump. The woman has made some changes to the way she stands so her vital organs are aligned in the correct way. Besides, Hernandez’partner, Kyle Neil, is a keen supporter of her work and is not against her performances.
