She was a child star thanks to E.T. and she was doing drugs and drinking at a young age thanks to all the Hollywood parties she attended with her mother, Jaid Barrymore. She ended up in rehab by the time she was 14, and filed for emancipation when she was 15. Her mother allegedly sold some of Drew’s baby clothes and E.T. memorabilia on eBay, and Drew has said that their relationship is complicated, and it’s better that they keep their distance.
