10. Lupe Fiasco
It’s actually ironic that Lupe Fiasco ended up having a successful career in Hip-Hop because he initially hated the genre because of the misogyny and vulgarity in the lyrics. However, he chose to pursue a rapping career, and now he’s loved for his amazing lyricism and his willingness to be unique and different. Over his career, he has shown a tendency to be socially conscious and that’s why he would make a good president. He has done charitable work like the Summit on the Summit project and performed benefits for the 2010 Haiti earthquake. Just this month, he partnered with angel investor and Google executive Di-Ann Eisnor to establish a one million dollar search for entrepreneurs in underserved, marginalized neighborhoods.
