Like Cate Blanchett, Matt Damon has avoided nude work for most of his career, although he did disrobe for some earlier roles. He was especially prone to nude scenes in more prestige projects early in his career. The most notable of these was The Talented Mr. Ripley from 1997, in which he played a man with a dangerous obsession with his upper-class friend, played byJude Law.
