Music executive, Ubi Franklin has finally replied to those dragging him for tattooing Davido’s late son’s nickname known as ‘popsicle’ on his hand.
Recall that Ubi took to Instagram to share a photo of his tattoo with the inscription “Popsicle”, a nickname he gave to late Ifeanyi Adeleke.
The tattoo also included a drawing of a dove with an olive branch in its beak.
However, some Nigerians were not happy with the tattoo and insulted him online, calling him a ‘clout chaser’.
He stated on his Instastories that most Nigerians are miserable and see one showing real love as a clout chaser.
In his words: “Opinionated people: They have little awareness of how they’re coming off or how others are emotionally reacting to them. Often they have the best of intentions to help whomever they’re speaking to and can’t understand why the other person isn’t happy to hear what they have to say.
Keep your opinions to yourself, I don’t care how anyone feels about how I have decided to live my life. Just focus on you and leave I and those I have decided to love out. Because, we are very pretentious about showing real love, when we see real love we call it clout.”
