A Nigerian man recently complained on social media about how people in his country tend to be more interested in sad events than happy ones.
However, there were significantly more people present for the burial when the infant passed away six months later than there had been previously.
Olayinka voiced disappointment with this personality flaw, which he thinks many Nigerians share.
In response to another tweet that said, “Banky W appears to have received more support since he lost the election than he did when he was running,” he posted the story on Twitter.
He wrote: “That is what Nigerians do to you. Some 2yrs ago, when me and my wife had a new baby, the people that called me or visited me when the baby died after 6 months were much more than those that congratulated me when the baby arrived.”
