Jennifer Aniston has never have a close relationship with her mother, Nancy Dow. Their bond was so strained that Dow wasn’t invited to either one of Aniston’s weddings. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Aniston said of her mother, “she was critical. She was very critical of me. She was gorgeous, stunning. I wasn’t. I honestly still don’t think of myself in that sort of light, which is fine.” They were estranged for at least a decade after Dow published a book called From Mother and Daughter to Friends: A Memoir about her relationship with her daughter.
