7. Talib Kweli

The 40-year-old Brooklyn rapper Talib Kweli is one of the most cerebral rappers in Hip-Hop. He comes from a house of academics – his mother is an English professor at the Medgar Evers college in NYC and his father was an administrator at Adelphi university. Kweli has very strident political views and he’s also a staunch activist. With regards to his social activities, he has protested against the NYPD stop-and-frisk policy, stood with the Dream Defenders in Florida and he also protested against the shooting of Michael Brown in Missouri. Talib Kweli has the intelligence and courage to be a decent president in the White House.
