9. Chris Brown is a Woman Beater
Rihanna is undoubtedly one of the most popular singers of this generation. Every year since her debut in 2005, it seems that Rihanna has put out hit after hit after hit – then Chris Brown came along and the hits just kept coming. In 2009 Rihanna was in a fight with her then boyfriend which resulted in her sustaining bruises on her face, a split lip, a black eye and even a bloody nose. Aside from getting physically beaten up, her life was also threatened by the R&B singer. His threats became grounds for him being detained by the LAPD. He was released however, after he paid a $50,000 bail. Rihanna went back to him after the incident but later split for good.
