Alfred Hitchcock’s groundbreaking film Psycho, revolved around Marion Crane who robs her boss of money and goes on the run. Things take a brutal turn when she ends up at the Bates Motel and meets the deranged Norman Bates. It’s widely considered one of the greatest movies ever made. It starred Anthony Perkins, Vera Miles and Janet Leigh as Marion Crane. The film is notable for containing one of the most famous scenes in film, “The Shower Scene”, in which Marion Crane meets Mother Bates for the first time. The A&E TV series Bates Motel, is a prequel that follows Norman Bates from his teenage years as he struggles with his own demons and his overbearing mother. Recently, it was announced that Rihanna would be playing the role of Marion Crane in the upcoming final season of Bates Motel. It was also recently announced that she will appear in the upcoming reboot, Ocean’s 8, with an all-female cast that includes Anne Hathaway, Cate Blanchett, Mindy Kaling and Sandra Bullock.
