Hungry Ebola patient flees quarantine, storms market – See what was done to him when caught! (Video)

There was panic in a crowded market in Monrovia, Liberia, when an Ebola patient  wandered in looking for food. The patient who was wearing a wristband to show he had tested positive for the disease, was said to have escaped from Monrovia’s Elwa hospital, which last month was so crowded with cases of the deadly disease that it had to turn people away.

Health workers dressed in their protective outfits later arrived the scene and tried to convince him to return to the isolation centre but he refused and had to be taken forcefully into a waiting ambulance.

One woman at the scene said: “The patients are hungry, they are starving. No food, no water. The government needs to do more.”
